Chicken schnitzel by
Ingredients
11/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 large eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp sea salt (plus extra for seasoning)
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 3 cups panko breadcrumbs
- 3 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (sliced horizontally to create 6 steaks)
- Oil for frying
Instructions
Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
2. Set up a coating station with flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs.
3. Coat each chicken piece in flour, dip in eggs, then cover with panko.
4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken in batches for 8-12 minutes, turning until golden brown.
5. Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with extra salt if desired.
