Easy Toffee Bars by Lori Bogan-Potts

Ingredients

20 graham crackers 1 cup butter 1 cup packed brown sugar 1 (12 ounce bag) milk chocolate morsels 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

Lightly grease 15x10x1 inch jelly roll pan. Line bottom of pan evenly with crackers

Combine butter and brown sugar in a 2 quart heavy saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil. Continue cooking 3 more minutes, stirring constantly.

Pour mixture evenly over crackers. Bake in a 375° oven for 15 minutes.

Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chocolate pieces. Let stand 5 minutes. Spread melted chocolate over crackers. While still warm, sprinkle chopped pecans over then cut between crackers making smaller pieces. Chill in the refrigerator until set.
