2 cups sugar (scant) 3 eggs 3 Tbsp flour 1/2 cup melted butter 1/2 tsp vanilla 1 cup buttermilk

Mix sugar and eggs together with mixer at low speed
Add remaining ingredients and mix well
Pour into unbaked pie shell
Bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour or until set
