Franks Under Wraps (Cathy) by
I have cut pastry into smaller strips and spiraled around hot dogs.
Ingredients
1 sheet of a 17.3oz Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry, thawed
1 egg
1 T water
10 hot dogs, cut in half crosswise
prepared mustard (or favorite dipping sauce)
Instructions
Heat oven to 400. Beat the egg and water in a small bowl with a fork or whisk.
Unfold the pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Cut the pastry sheet into 20 strips (1/2" each). Wrap the pastry strips around the hot dogs and press to seal. Place the pastries on a baking sheet and brush with the egg mixture.
Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire rack for 10 min and serve with mustard.
