Irish Stew by mcushman

Ingredients

4 lbs. stew beef (cubed) 3 TBSP oil 6 c. boiling water 1 TBSP lemon juice 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1 bay leaf 1 1/2 tsp salt 1 TBSP sugar 1/2 tsp pepper 1/2 tsp paprika 14 1/2 oz. can tomato sauce 2 medium onions 4 large carrots 2 stalks celery 1 lb. green beans

Instructions

Brown and add water and all ingredients to onions. Simmer for 1 1/2 hours then add veggies. Cook for another hour. Serve over mashed potatoes with cornbread.
