Salsa Verde by Monte

Ingredients

8 C tomatillos 2 C green tomatoes 6 jalapenos, chopped fine 6 habaneros, chopped fine 3 cloves garlic, pressed 3 limes, juiced 2 C onion, chopped 2 tsp ground cumin 1 tsp dried oregano 1 tsp ground black pepper 1/2 C cilantro Optional: chopped green or colored sweet peppers

Instructions

Blend all ingredients together. Ladle into sterile pint jars. Add 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp sugar. Put sterile lids and rings on. Process in water bath for 20 minutes, completely covered in boiling water.
