Peppermint Brownies by viper

Ingredients

Brownie: 3/4 cup margarine, melted 1/2 cup sugar 1/3 cup Dutch-processed cocoa mix 3 eggs (beat 1 at a time) 1 cup all-purpose flour 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1/4 tsp. salt 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips 1 cup peppermint candy, crushed Frosting: 1 cup margarine, melted 3 cups powder sugar 5 Tbsp. heavy whipping cream 2 tsp. peppermint extract 2 cups peppermint candy, crushed

Instructions

Brownie: Beat margarine, sugar, cocoa, eggs, flour vanilla extract, salt and chocolate chips together. Sprinkle peppermint candy on top.

Pour into a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

Cool completely.

Frosting: Beat margarine, sugar, heavy whipping cream and peppermint extract until creamy.

Fold in peppermint candy.

Spread over the brownies
