Vanilla glazed baked donuts by
Ingredients
1 cup of all purpose flour
1/3 cup white granulated sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
1 egg
1/3 cup plus 1 1/2 tbsp whole milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
baking spray
2 donut pans
3 large bowls
whisk
microwave safe bowl
cooling racks with wax paper underneath
glaze
mixing bowl
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/8 tsp salt
1-2 tbsp milk
gel food coloring
sprinkles
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 f.
Spray donut pans with non stick spray set aside.
In one large bowl whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In next bowl melt butter, then whisk in egg, milk, butter, and vanilla extract.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, combine.
Spoon the batter into the cavities, only fill 3/4 full.
Bake 8-10 minutes.
Remove baking pan, let donuts cool add to cooling rack.
In a large bowl whisk together powdered sugar, vanilla extract , and salt. Add in 1 tbsp milk at a time until it is consistency you like. Add food coloring if you wish.
Dip donuts into glaze, add sprinkles if you wish. Let dry on cooling rack. Store in airtight container for 2 days in the fridge.
