Ingredients

1 1/8th cups melted unsalted butter (2 sticks) plus two table spoons 1 cup light brown sugar packed 1 cup packed granulated sugar 2 large eggs room temperature 2 tsp vanilla extract 2 cups of all purpose flour 3/4 cups of nestle cocoa powder used for baking 1 tsp of baking soda 1/2 tsp of salt 2 cups of semi sweet chocolate chips 1 stand mixer with bowl and paddle attachment cookie scoop cookie sheets small pot to melt the butter on the stove plus a whisk to stir it up as it melts

Instructions

Melt your unsalted butter on medium low until fully melted whisking as it melts.
Once the butter is melted, add in cocoa powder until smooth and fully combined.
Next add the melted butter, cocoa powder, brown , and white sugar into the bowl of the stand mixer.
Mix the ingredients on medium speed for 1 to 2 minutes until light and fluffy.
Next add in room temperature eggs , to make sure they are room temperature set them in warm water for five minutes.
Next mix the ingredients again for 2 minutes, scrape the bowl.
While mixing add in the vanilla, salt, baking soda, flour, and chocolate chips. Mix until combined and mix the rest by hand making sure there is no air pockets.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Scoop cookie dough into even balls and place 3" apart on your cookie sheet.
Let the cookies sit at room temperature for 30 minutes, bake the cookies for 10 minutes.
allow the cookies to bake for 5 minute's on your cookie sheet, then place on a cookie cooling rack until fully cooled . store in airtight container for 2 weeks.
