Belinda's Pumpkin Cookies by
Ingredients
1 cup sugar
1 small can pumpkin
1/2 cup shortening
1 T. orange peel
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup raisins, optional
1/2 cup nuts, optional
icing:
Mix sugar, pumpkin, shortening and orange peel. Mix dry ingredients in a separate bowl. Add to pumpkin mixture. Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes.
