Polly Judd's Meatloaf by
Ingredients
2 lb. lean ground beef
1/5 lb. breakfast sausage
1 large egg
1 package Saltines, crushed (40 crackers)
2 medium onions, chopped
1 green pepper, minced fine
1/3 cup Worcestershire
3/4 cup catsup
1/2 tsp. ground pepper
1 tsp. salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325. Prepare all ingredients. Separate catsup into 1/2 and 1/4 cups.
Put beef, sausage, and egg in large bowl. Sprinkle pepper and salt all over meat and start squeezing and kneading it. Add saltines and knead in. Add onions and green pepper and knead. Add 1/2 cup catsup and Worcestershire and knead.
Place in a shallow pan, patted into oblong shape. Bake at 325 for 45 minutes. Slather remaining catsup on it and bake for 45 minutes more.
