Cherry Pudding (and sauce) by kathleenjensen

Ingredients

Cake: 1 cup sugar 1 cup cherries (red, sour, pitted) 1 cup flour (or more) 1 t. soda 1 T. butter 1 egg 1/2 cup nuts Sauce: 1/2 cup sugar 2 T. cornstarch Liquid from 1 can of cherries 1 can of cherries (red, sour, pitted), undrained

Instructions

Cake:
Drain 1 can of cherries (save liquid for cherry sauce)
Mix together all ingrdients
Bake at 350 for about 35 minutes

Sauce:
Mix together the sugar and cornstarch
Add mixture to cherry juice (add another can of cherries, undrained)
