Unstuffed Cabbage Rolls by
Ingredients
1.5-2 lbs. ground beef or turkey
1 T oil
1 large onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 small cabbage, chopped
2 cans (14.5 oz each)
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. ground black pepper
1 tsp. salt
Instructions
In a large skillet, heat oil over med. heat. Add ground beef and onion and cook, stirring, until beef is no longer pink and onion is soft. Add the garlic and continue cooking 1 minute. Add the rest of the ingredients. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 20-30 minutes, or until cabbage is tender.
