Maple Syrup by Kraus Family

Ingredients

1-3/4 c. white sugar 1/4 c. brown sugar 1 c. water 1/2 t. vanilla 1/2 t. maple flavoring

Instructions

Combine sugars and water in saucepan.
Bring to a boil, cover and cook 1 minute.
Cool slightly.
Add flavorings.

Note: Covering saucepan a few minutes as syrup cooks will melt down crystals and help prevent syrup from crystallizing later in storage. Can also be made with 2 c. white sugar and no brown sugar.
