Classic Grilled Cheese w/ options by

Ingredients
2 slices of your favorite sandwich bread
2 tsp unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 cup grated old cheddar cheese
Instructions
LAY bread on counter. Butter one side of each slice. Turn over one slice and sprinkle with cheese. Top with second slice of bread, butter side up.
HEAT a small non-stick frying pan over medium. When hot, add sandwich. Cook until bread is deep golden brown on both sides and cheese starts to melt, about 2 min per side. Reduce heat to medium-low if sandwich browns before cheese starts to melt. Using a spatula, remove sandwich from pan. Slice in half before serving.
Option 1: Chocolate, Strawberry & Mascarpone
Spread one side of bread with 1 tbsp chocolate spread, then cover with 3 thinly sliced strawberries and 2 tbsp mascarpone cheese.
Option 2: Pepperoni, Yellow Peppers & Mozzarella
Spread one side of bread with 1 tbsp pizza sauce, then cover with 4 pepperoni slices, 2 tbsp chopped yellow pepper and 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese.
Option 3: Italian-style
Spread one side of bread with 1 tbsp pesto, then cover with 2 tomato slices and 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese.
Option 4: Tex-Mex Twist
Spread one side of bread with 2 tbsp salsa, then cover with 3 crumbled tortilla chips, 2 tsp finely chopped jalapenos and 1 cup grated Monterey Jack cheese.
Option 5: Bacon, Caramelized Onion & Brie
Top one side of bread with 4 slices of cooked bacon slices, 1 cup caramelized onion and about 120 g sliced brie.
