Taco Soup by Traveling Marlins

I cook then freeze ground beef (cooked with onion, salt and pepper) in 1-pound Food Saver baggies so all I have to do is thaw a bag of beef & omit the onion.

Ingredients

1-1/2 LB lean ground beef 1 lg. onion 2 15-oz cans chopped or crushed tomatoes 1 15-oz can corn 1 15-oz can red kidney beans 1 15-oz can pinto beans 1 4-oz can chopped green chiles 1 pkg taco seasoning 1 pkg Hidden Valley Ranch Original, dry mix 1-1/2 C chicken broth

Instructions

In a large pot, saute the meat and onions until no pink remains; drain off fat. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
