Kristi's Egg Rolls by
Ingredients
1/2 - 1 lb. hamburger
1/2 - 1 lb. whole head cabbage, shredded
1/2 cup onion, diced
1/2 cup green onion, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
egg whites
carrots, shredded
celery, chopped
2-3 T. soy sauce
Instructions
Sauce: equal parts ketchup, brown sugar, with a little less vinegar and some ginger.
Fry the hamburger and onions, drain. Heat oil in a skillet and add onion, celery, salt and pepper. Add the meat and cabbage. Sprinkle with soy sauce and add green onion. add 1/4 cup water. Put lid on and steam for a couple of minutes.
Brush egg roll skin with egg white. Put 1/4-1/2 cup filling. Roll like a diaper. Brush with egg white again. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.
