Sheet Cake Icing (Mom's Sheath Cake) by Traveling Marlins

Important: Start this recipe 5 minutes before sheet cake is done. Note: I've always called this a sheath cake because that's how I copied it from my sister's family cookbook. It wasn't until I was in my 40's that I learned it's a sheet cake. lol

Ingredients

1 stick butter 4 T cocoa 6 T milk (or cream or buttermilk) Approx 1 bag powdered sugar (approx 2 lbs) 1 t vanilla 1 C chopped pecans

Instructions

Put butter, cocoa and milk in saucepan. Melt & bring to a boil.
Remove from heat & add powdered sugar & vanilla.
Beat well & pour over hot cake.
Sprinkle pecans on top.
