Carrot Cake by debbie

Ingredients

Cake 2 cups flour 2 teaspoons baking soda 2 teaspoons cinnamon 1 tsp. salt 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg pinch cloves 4 large eggs 1 cup granulated sugar 3/4 cup brown sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup veg. oil 3 cups shredded carrots 3/4 cup walnuts chopped Frosting: 1 8 oz cream cheese, 1/4 cup butter, 1 tsp. vanilla, 3 c. 10x sugar.

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350
Grease and flour 13 by 9 cake pan
Mix flour, soda, cinn., salt , nutmeg, cloves
Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla till smooth on low ( with mixer)
Slowly and oil in steady stream
Add flour and beat just till blended.
Fold in carrots and nuts.
Pour in pan, bake 40 min. cool and frost

Frosting: Soften cream cheese and butter beat together with vanilla and sugar:)
