Aunt Pat's Pork Chops by
Yummy served with/or over mashed potatoes!
Ingredients
2 onions, sliced
1/2 stick butter
1 lg. can whole tomatoes, crushed
2 tsp. sugar
S&P
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup horseradish
2 cups sauerkraut
2 cups applesauce
6 large pork chops
Instructions
Brown onions in 1/2 of butter. Add tomatoes, sugar, 1 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. pepper and all else except chops. Pour into large shallow baking dish. Brown chops in butter, sprinkle w/ S&P. Put in dish with applesauce and kraut. Cover with foil and bake at 350F for 1 3/4 hours.
