Maple Butter (for French Toast) by Sarea Clark

This was a special breakfast item on Christmas Eve Day at Grandma Clarks house.

Ingredients

1/2 C Pure Maple Syrup (regular works in a pinch) 1 1/2 c. Powdered Sugar 1 stick butter, melted 1 egg

Instructions

Mix syrup, sugar and butter together until creamed. Crack the egg, adding the yolk only, saving egg white for later. Cream together. In a separate bowl, beat the egg white until stiff and fold into the rest of the mixture. Put in fridge until ready to serve. Serve over French Toast
