Scones by Sarea Clark

Ingredients

1 3/4 c flour 4 tsp baking powder 5 TBS unsalted butter 1/4 c sugar 1/8 tsp salt 1/2 c dried fruit 1/2 c milk 1/4 c sour cream

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°

Sift dry ingredients. Cut in butter using pastry blender until pea sized lumps. Stir in dried fruit. Mix milk and sour cream and pour into mix. Do NOT overwork dough.

Roll out dough 1/2" thick round and cut into wedges. Whisk 1 egg and 1 TBS milk. Brush tops. Rest for 10 min. Bake 10-15 min until the tops are golden brown
