Pasta with Sausage Cream Sauce by LoLo

Ingredients

1T. Butter 1T. Olive oil 1 onion , thinly sliced 3 cloves garlic, minced 1 lb. Italian sausage, casings removed 1 cup dry white wine 1 can stewed tomatoes 1 cup heavy cream 6 T. Parsley 1 lb. pasta 1 cup grated cheese

Instructions

Melt butter with oil in skillet over med. high heat. Add onion and garlic. Sauté until golden brown and tender, about 7 minutes. Add sausage, sauté until cooked thru, about 7 minutes. Drain. Add wine, boil 2 minutes. Add tomatoes and simmer 3 minutes, add cream and simmer until it thickens. Stir in 4 T. parsley,. season w/ S&P. Cook pasta al dente, drain. Bring sauce to a boil , combine with pasta, toss with cheese and top with remaining parsley. Serve.
