Fruit and Nutty Cookies by

Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs. chopped dates
1/2 lb. candied cherries
1/2 lb. cnadied pineapple
1/2 lb. golden raisins
4 lb. chopped pecans
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 teas. soda
1 teas. salt
1 teas. cinnamon
1 cup butter or margarine (melted)
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs, beaten
Instructions
Sift flour, salt, soda, and cinnamon toghether in a large bowl. If you chop your own fruit, I find it better to put it in the four mixture first and cut with kitchen sissors. Then add sugar and stir. Then add butter and eggs. Pat into 2 inch circles about 3/4 inch thick and bake in oven at 325 for 15 minutes.Remove to cooling rack.
