Ingredients

1 cup butter 1/2 cup sugar 2 cups all purpose flour

Instructions

Cream butter and sugar together until fluffy; sift in flour. Blend well. Spread into baking pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven and pierce evenly with a fork - poke holes in it. Cut into bars. Allow to cool completely before removing. Makes approx. 3 dozen cookies.
