Fritto Misto by
** You can use any vegetables you want in this dish.
Ingredients
- 1 Liter Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Salt & Pepper
- 1/4 lb Green Beans (vegetables of your choice)
- 1/4 lb broccoli
- 1/4 lb Zucchini
- 1/4 lb Yellow/Red Bell Peppers (sliced)
- 1/4 lb Asparagus
- 1 Lemon (sliced)
- Cornstarch for dipping before frying
Instructions
Shake all vegetables being fried in the cornstarch.
Get a tall-sided pot heated at 357 degrees F.
Place vegetables a little at a time into the pot with the Extra Virgin Olive Oil and let fry until crisp, which is around 5-7 minutes.
Fry in batches.
When done frying, remove from Olive Oil and transfer vegetables onto a towel or paper towel on plate.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper and a squeeze of lemon juice and serve.
