Bananas Foster by Blink

Ingredients

3~4 ripe bananas 3~4 tablespoons of brown sugar 3 tablespoons butter 3 tablespoons of rum or brandy some vanilla ice cream

Instructions

1. Peel and cut bananas
2. Melt butter in pan
3. Add brown sugar and stir on medium high heat for 2~3 minutes
4. Add bananas and mix
5. Turn off heat and slowly add the rum
6. Use a long-stemmed lighter to flambé the bananas
7. If too hot close the lid and wait for the fire to go out
8. Return to medium high heat and cook 3~4 minutes
9. Put a couple scoops of ice cream in a bowl and just layer the bananas on top
